Clinical case
Clinical case: compressive fibrosis and hernia in L3L4
Preoperative
The patient comes to our center having previously undergone open surgery for a herniated disc.
Fibrosis has been developing, compressing the root that passes between the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebra, herniating the disc that is between the third lumbar vertebra and the fourth.
Operation
Through a minimal incision in the skin of about 3 millimeters on the side, the affected area can be accessed without digging into previously operated areas.
Prof. Dr. Elgeadi and his team proceed to eliminate the L3L4 hernia and remove the scar at L4L5, checking that the neurological structures are completely released.
Postoperative
The patient comes out of surgery being able to move his legs perfectly. In a few hours you will be able to leave our center on your own thanks to the rapid recovery offered by minimally invasive techniques.
